The Spongebob Squarepants Movie starts out in the Krusty Krab where the protagonist, Spongebob Squarepants, is excited for the opening of the new resturant the Krusty Krab 2. Spongebob hopes that he will be made the manager for the resturant. However, as he arrives Mr. Krabs promotes his co-worker Squidward instead. Spongebob heads to his favorite place Goofy Goober's with his friend Patrick to drown out his saddness. Plankton plots to frame Mr. Krabs for stealing Neptune's crown. Neptune, angry at the loss of his crown bust into the Krusty Krab 2 and freezes Mr. Krabs and sentences him to death unless he returns his crown Spongebob returns to the Krusty Krab 2 to argue with Mr. Krabs. Seeing that Mr. Krabs is in danger he volunteers to retrive the crown from shell city, a place where no fish has ever returned. On his way Spongebob and Patrick encounter many challenges untill theyu come across the Cyclops. The Cyclpos is a man in a large diving suit. He picks up Spongebob and Patrick and takes them to his store which is the real Shell City. It is revealed that Shell city is a tourist shop where fish get dried up and sold. Spongebob and Patrick are put under a sun lamp to dry. Sad that they are about to die they cry. Their tears short out the sun lamp and trigger the fire sprinklers. The water revitalizes all the fish which then attack the Cyclops. Spongebob and Patrick escape and hitch a ride on David Hasselhoff. When they return to Bikini Bottom they discover that Plankton has enslaved everyone. Spongebob lets out his pent up frustration in an epic song that frees every one. Spongebob is then made the manager of the Krusty Krab 2.

This is probably my favorite movie from my childhood and will remain my favorite. There are no parts of this movie that I don't like. I could watch this movie for hours on end and will never get sick of it. It is literally impossible to be sad while watching this movie.
